Now the general manager for all ETOPS group activities worldwide Mr. Dransfield previously joined Mechtronix in September 2009 and has been responsible for all flight simulation training device validation and qualification aspects for commercial flight training including the MPL.
Prior to joining Mechtronix, Mr. Dransfield held various engineering and senior management positions at Rediffusion, Hughes Rediffusion, Thomson Training & Simulation and Thales Training & Simulation where he covered most aspects of commercial flight simulator engineering, production and qualification as well as being Director Strategy & Marketing for the civil simulation business..
In addition Mark spent 3 years as a regulator as UK CAA Simulator Standards Manager responsible for managing the regulatory oversight of all FSTD Qualifications as well as leading the JAA standards working group responsible for implementing JAR FSTD A.
Mr. Dransfield is a registered Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society and is past Chairman of the RAeS Flight Simulation Group Committee for 2011 – 2013. As part of his work for the RAeS he has also co-chaired the International Working Group responsible for the update of the current ICAO 9625 Edition 3 Manual of Criteria for the Qualification of FSTDs.
Mr. Dransfield holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Queen Mary College, London University, United Kingdom.

Graham Pritchard is General Manager of our Kuala Lumpur office, heads our Flight Training Business and is Accountable Manager in our EASA approved ATO organization. Graham worked for 14 years in the Royal Air Force as an Avionics Technical before joining Rediffusion Simulation in 1989 primarily in the Customer Support and Field Service role. He has lived permanently in the Asia Pacific region since 1992 and has much experience working closely with the Airlines in the region in assisting in the setting up and support of their training centres. Outside of work Graham is an active General Aviation pilot and flies competition level aerobatics at the weekends.

Born in 1960, Barry Gaines joined the British Royal Air Force in 1976 as an Apprentice Aircraft engineering technician specialising in Airframes and Propulsion systems; served for 12 years maintaining fast jet and transport aircraft including the L1011 Tristar. Entered the simulation industry in 1988 with Rediffusion Simulation Ltd. in Crawley UK where he held both design and management positions through to 2010 when he held the post of Head of Product Support at the then Thales Training & Simulation. He held the position of Vice Chairman on the FSEMC steering committee from 2007n until 2010. Barry Joined ETOPS in 2010 as Support Services Director .
